AdventNet, Inc., the leading provider of affordable network and system management software, today announced that Heavy Reading has named it the top-rated private company in the element management category as part of its Fall 2003 OSS Market Perception Study. The study by Heavy Reading, the market research arm of Light Reading Inc., is an invitation-only survey of 433 participants from 90 different service providers and enterprises worldwide and analyzes their perceptions of 160 vendors in 12 operations support systems (OSS) product categories. AdventNet was chosen as a market leader among private companies in recognition, price and service support in addition to being the overall leading private company in the element management category.
The research validates AdventNets' commitment to provide best of breed products bundled with superior customer support and offer both at an affordable price. Even during the downturn, AdventNet has continued its track record of profitability, which has enabled it to heavily invest in R&D.
"This study confirms what we see in the marketplace today: AdventNet is the recognized leader in providing OEM EMS solutions for network element vendors. More impressive is the fact that even though this study does not include our core customers, network element vendors but their end customers, namely service providers, AdventNet still received significant recognition among such end customers," said Dr. Sridhar Vembu, CEO of AdventNet. "The company's ranking is a result of the collective effort and commitment of the entire organization to serve the EMS, OSS markets. We have recently lowered our prices across the board to offer additional value to our customers and solidify our market leadership. By working closely with our customers we will continue to build on this success."
